Ad Mad Show

Ad Mad Show is a creative and entertaining event where participants create and present their own humorous or innovative advertisements. The focus is on originality, creativity, and the ability to engage and entertain an audience through effective advertising.

General Rules

  1. Eligibility: Participants must be registered in advance
  2. The competition can be for individuals or teams ( 3-5 members).

Ad Concept:

  1. Each team/individual must create an original ad concept.
  2. The advertisement can promote a real product, an imaginary product, or a takeoff of an existing product.
  3. The content must align with the theme provided Duration:
  4. Each ad presentation should last between 2 to 5 minutes (5min.max).
  5. Exceeding the time limit may result in penalties.

Presentation Format

  1. Participants can use skits, jingles, props, visual aids, or other creative elements in their advertisement.
  2. Pre-recorded audio or video may be used, but live presentation is encouraged.
  3. Language: Hindi, English or regional languages like odia allowed for the presentation.

Content Restrictions:

  1. The ad should be humorous but appropriate. Offensive or inappropriate content will result in disqualification.
  2. . No vulgarity, racism, sexism, or political references are allowed.
  3. Avoid controversial or sensitive topics (e.g., religion, politics).

Judging Criteria:

  1. Creativity: The ad should be innovative and reflect original ideas
  2. Humor: The ad must entertain the audience while still promoting the product.
  3. . Presentation: Confidence, stage presence, and clarity in communication will be evaluated. .
  4. Product Relevance: The ad should effectively promote the product (even if it’s fictional).
  5. Audience Engagement: The ability to engage the audience and make the advertisement memorable.
  6. Time Management: Adherence to the time limit is important.
